Lets take a closer look at our interconnects. We manufacture four basic
models, that, as we think of it, can satisfy any customer, depending on
his needs.
For entry level we offer our AS560
series cables Their rugged design assures reliability and long term performance.
Twisted pair technology together with mylar foil shield guards the signal
from vicious outer interference. OFC copper ensures free current flow
along the wires. Brilliant blue transparent outer jacket protects the
wire from heat, oil, gas, water etc.
AXR series cables are heavy duty single
channel models. A twisted OFC pair is shielded with mylar foil. Solid
connector provides a super tight fit for the cable. A pair of strong PVC
cords run along the cable. They dramatically improve the performance of
the cable owing to their low permitivity and add some extra strength to
the construction.
AXT
cables are more sophisticated. Two twisted OFC pairs are double shielded.
First, there's a special drain wire, that is connected at one side to
the signal ground. Second, there's a mylar foil shield. High quality connectors
imply barrels of non-magnetic gun metal and gold plated connectors.
AXTF cables
are much alike the AXT - no wonder, it's a four channel modification,
that comes in very handy at most applications (e.g. a head unit with two
line outputs and a four channel amp)
AXQ is an advanced interconnect for
serious installations. Massive connectors provide really tight fix for
the cable. Barrels of non-magnetic gun metal withstand corrosion and provide
superior shielding for the most noise-sensitive parts of the interconnect.
Underneath the outer durable polyurethane jacket lies the second insulation
PVC layer. Each twisted pair is individually shielded with mylar foil
and a tinned copper drain wire. Don't forget that two twisted pairs are
twisted in a pair too - yes, it may seem a little complicated, but this
helps increase common mode rejection capability of the cable.
AXZ series cables are the most sophisticated
among Art Sound interconnects. These are single channel cables that implement
all the tricky things to fight deadly noise interference and distortion.
Collet RCA connector provides easy connection and super tight fit. Barrels
of non-magnetic gun metal withstand corrosion and provide superior shielding
for the most noise-sensitive parts of the interconnect. Underneath the
stylish "snakeskin" protective boot is a serious set of defense lines.
Outer polyurethane jacket protects the cable from environmental mishaps.
Braided copper shield underneath provides superior noise blocking. The
inner layer, made of a flexible material with low capacitance, minimizes
degradation of the signal from dielectric absorption. The conductor bundles
are geometrically arranged in a spiral twisted pair to increase common
mode rejection. Additionally the cable contains an independent twisted
drain wire, wrapped around conductor twisted pair. To ensure proper shielding,
the twister pair with a drain wire are entirely covered with mylar foil.
There you have it. By the way, do you still think wires are simple?
